Come experience 2016’s Youth International Champions in Barbershop Harmony as well as a perennial top Division finisher, Loudoun’s own Old Dominion Chorus for an evening celebrating Crooners of the 60s! Think you know barbershop? Think again!! We’re also excited to have Heritage High School’s T.W.E.L.V.E. singing on our show and are donating a portion of the proceeds to them!

McLean’s Kintz-Mejia Academy of Ballet will stage Aladdin, a full ballet production based on “One Thousand and One Nights.” The originally-choreographed performance features students ranging in age from 3 to 18, adult students, and international guest artists, and showcases classical Russian-style ballet. It is truly a not-to-be-missed cultural event right in our own backyard!

The Carnival will be located at 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive.

Yoga studios and wellness centers of Northern Virginia will offer classes, services, and share information at Love Your Body Yoga Festival presented by Beloved Yoga. LYBYF offers free activities and entertainment for the whole family including live music, complimentary Yoga classes, Energy Healing demonstrations, healthy food and drink samples. Also featured are soothing therapies such as Reiki, chiropractic, and massage. The Kids Tent will offer storytelling, laughter yoga, and more, for all ages. All are invited to enjoy the variety of activities, free prize drawings, and many booths on Market Street through the day. For class participation and services, donations are encouraged, and will benefit Southgate Community Center. Come and celebrate commUNITY with Northern Virginia’s best yoga instructors and alternative health care providers offering fun and educational methods at Love Your Body Yoga Festival. The event also launches the official start of the 10th annual Virginia Yoga Week, June 18 – 25th, when yoga studios and independent teachers will be offering free, five-dollar, and Karma classes throughout the Commonwealth.

NOVA will offer over a dozen one-week summer camps at several schools throughout the county from June 18-August 3. Open to students in grades 3-12, these one-week camps emphasize hands-on learning, teamwork, critical thinking, and career awareness in a fun and engaging way. Topics include robotics, coding, cybersecurity, app design, aviation, and pre-health. Camps will run June 18 thru August 3 at the following locations: Edison HS, Marshall HS, Westfield HS, and Hughes MS. Discounts are available to parents who sign up their child for multiple camps and/or sign up multiple children.
